If you are going to continue drag racing, remove the restrictor in the clutch line. A little less clutch burn will result.

way to get better!

Hey man sounds like you kinda slipped the clutch instead of a quick back step! Actually if you want to get a good run try the pump method (pumping gas as the ambers fakk)instead of holding it at a single rpm, sounds more difficult but it really isnt.I acutally get better rt's too!

But you really have to pump the gas due to your lag, but way to get better towards the end. You'll get better only takes practice.

I thought the best way WAS to slip the clutch? I was actually at the track yesterday, but my car could only pull off a 14.3 but I had a 1.8 60. Missed third in all of my 3 runs! Shifting too fast? I was told that my suspension was too stiff in rear and that I should make the rear dampers softer so the nose of the car could rise and the rear lower a bit when launching.

In and awd car you pretty much just back step the clutch really fast, dont side step. I dont know about you, but in my vr-4 I can get 1.7 60 ft times. I think that you should be capable of being close to that with awd evos(saw a few in the same range on this forum). But dude its a practice thing!!
