17th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout **MEGA MERGE THREAD**
8:34 on the west coast...know you all on the east coast must be feeling mighty fine! My wife and I wish we could be partying...and competing against you all! Best of luck to all those involved! Drive fast...be safe!

I was at the track all evening to see the amazing "Door Slammer" racing. What a great race facility.
Mike @ AWD and about 5 other Evos and DSM's were unable to run as the track would not allow 4 bangers to this evenings event. Never the less it was really a huge blast to watch all the domestic racers. I think I will go back again tomorrow to watch them some more.
I was really impressed when I saw Evo people already camping out at the track. Real die hards.

Looks like I'm going to make it, sans Evo. I'm going to be bringing the new R&D 245-45 17 Hoosiers's and hopefully get them further tested. Already mounted on CE28N's.

I took a moment to take a few pics this morning. The following was the scene at 11am. Its even busier now. The AWD Motorsports monster is on the dyno now putting on a show.
LOTS of people here, AWESOME BBQ Chicken / Rib dinners, Lots of nice DSM's, Evo 8's, 9's & X's, a bad *** 4G63 dune buggy.... its a great turn out and a great time so far. Race day is tomorrow! Ohio is THE place to be for THE shootout!

Wow - looks like I better get out of bed and get to the scene ! (I was tuning a lot of cars yesterday and the day before and after so much travel I am TIRED - need to rest and get ready for the big race)

DG Motors 9.0 @ 164 first pass at Norwalk.
Just want to update you guys..Right off the trailer at Norwalk 5 minutes ago, Eric Bennet, driver of DG Motors Drag Evo 8 just went:
9.0 @ 164 w/ a 1.483 60ft
break down of slip:
60- 1.48-
330-4.0
8th-5.9- 125mph
1000-7.6
1/4-9.0-164.09
We got one more pass to get the car semi dialed in, we are still down a few hp. Wish I could have been there to meet everyone at the Buschur Shootout! I will update everyone on the next pass then DG Motors will be at Buschur's!!!
