17th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout **MEGA MERGE THREAD**
The event is a HUGE success once again. I am dropping by the thread while the shop and entire village is still jammed packed full of cars. The streets are still closed off to accomadate all the people.
The scene here is larger than ever before, more friendly faces, more hot women, more racers, fans and just spectators.
There are cars parked past the building on both sides of the street, the print shop at the end of town is jammed full of cars (never had to park them there before) and the doctors office is once again filled up.
I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out, bringing someone with you and making this event what it is, the greatest Mitsubishi event in the world. You can't stop greatness.
Thanks everyone.

It was a great day - even though I got there late - I had a great time and I am looking forward to the camp fire tonight and sharing some home movies with the gang
I am sure glad that I made the trip again this year !

I have just returned to my hotel after a amazing day seeing so many friends and fellow Evo fans from all over the USA.
Its really a highlight of my entire year to spend a weekend with people who have such great passion for these fine machines and who share the same perspective.
My faith in the strength of the Buschur community and the people who make the DSM Shootout the world's best DSM event is renewed.
I plan to contact the owners of both tracks in the near future to try and do what ever I can to assure that the two biggest events are not again held on the same day next year. It really serves no purpose and only harms the success of both events, hurts the racers and fans who would attend both races and it needlessly spreads ill will and acts to divide the community which really have no positive benefit.
Again, great seeing you all.
