We just found out the car's exhaust manifold cracked near the collector while on the 2-step on the line, that is why the car bogged. Lost all boost and blahhhhhh..
Oh well, we did well, showed up and raced. The car ran consistent all weekend long ranging from 9.33-9.06...
We have a few things to patch up, we will be out again in the next week or so to take home our 8 second pass.
Hopefully everyone knows we are here to race and be competitive. Although we are new to the game, we have a driven goal and you will see us in the 8's real soon!
Thanks goes out to everyone who kept us going including:
Buschur Racing
Al from Dynoflash
Mike from AWD
and everyone else that was there to support us!

Edit: just heard from Keith. He's okay, but the car is totaled, and he apparently had to be cut from the car after flipping it five times in the sandpit at the end of the track. Ouch. Glad to hear he's well, though.

That was a good buddy of mine. He has a history of having some pretty fast cars and is an experienced driver. Unfortunately he made very bad mistake, he went 1-2-1. Not sure how he was able to get the car back in 1st while trying to go to 3rd, I always thought the cars were difficult to get into first going a decent mph, I have seen many more 2-3-2.
It sucks really bad but he has been through this with his other cars so I am sure we will be wrenching on the car in the next few days.
Luckily some of my other friends who we were with work at AAA corporate so after waiting 2 hours for a flat-bed we headed back home. The tow ride didn’t cost a single dime!
