First time at the track with the EVO X this past weekend. I wanted to see what it would run prior to me bolting on my AGP Turbo Kit.
Took me 4-5 runs before I figured out how to get my 1.8 60' (wasn't slipping the clutch fast enough)
My last run of the the day was a 12.8 with with the 1.8 60'
I guess I can't complain. 19 kph head wind, 2,280 feet elevation.
I'm sure the car has a 12.6-12.7 with better weather conditions.
Super fun day. Everyone was "cool peoples", and there to have a good time.
Holy ****ing sunburn though......
To compare:
2008 Dodge SRT-8 challenger (Diablo Sport Tune and Open Dump Headers)
Best run was 13.3 @ 105mph
2010 Stock Camaro SS
Best run was a 13.5 @ 105mph
2010 Mustang GT500
Was trapping 112 but his times were all over the place due massive traction problems. (14.5 - 12.7)
Video of my 12.8 final run against the Challenger. (ProStreet Finals Bracket Racing)

First pass ever, well technically 2nd if you count my 1st where I left traction control on which led to a 3.5 60ft lol. 1st real pass, 1st actual pass I trapped 124.
Had major traction problems and I don't know how to drive a 630whp evo haha. Should be easy low 11's/high 10's with a good 60ft and practice.

Nice trap! Get some more seat time and get that 60ft. down.
I find it frustrating trying to re-learn how to launch the car with a bigger set up, but it's worth it when you get it dialed in.

Man my little Ralliart isn't too bad at 660ft compared to some of these Evo X mid 8 sec 1/8 mile times. I am still just rolling out in auto/sport with zero power braking.
Don't pay the reaction time any mind they just flipped the green light as soon as you staged. I have been experimenting some with power braking but while its still more fun to run the sst in manual mode, the computer still runs more consistent at redline in auto.
I was flipping through the radio or something during the first 60 feet - man that was an eternity.
