New Hoosier Drag Slick

There was a post about a new Hoosier Drag Slick in a 245/45-17 or 225/45-17 that was coming out last month. Is there any new news on this tire? And which size is it going to be?

I really would like to know how the tires performed on the Audi that tested them. It would be great to have another option except the nittos and the bfgs.

To help shed some light Mike (Audi guy) was supposed to test them up here in NorCal but he had some issues so he didn't get to run on them.

However he was supposed to run at an IDRC event last month i believe and not sure if he did or did not.

He is testing the 225 version.

I have some other info but will not say anything unless he gives me the OK to do so.

I'll try and get a hold of Mike to update everyone but i don't surf the Audi forums often he posts on some local Evo forums in the SF Bay Area so it may take a little.

Did you get the reg 555R's or the Dr's?

I wouldn't go so far as to call the Hoosiers a "slick" to me it's more of a serious drag radial w/ a compound similar to a Hoosier QTP or Mickey Thompson ET Street or Mickey Thompson's ET Street RADIAL.
