bad ***! those tires look like they will hook hard considering you are saying they are pretty soft. can't wait for the results. you guys are awesome...stopping on a 300 mile trip to show these people pics of the tires while still on the road!!!!

I think the QTP has more (softer)sidewall also but if this Hoosiers DR will perform the same then I'll just get this to avoid the hassle of the fitment issue of the RX-7 rims

Can't wait to hear the result from Indy and 9sec9....
I hear ya man

IMO i think these tires will perform very similar in ET to the QTP's but the kicker is the ease of just mounting them and racing no need for spacer extended studs etc.

I too am wondering what issues at all will come up as i know people will be trying to launch pretty hard on these things........time will tell.

Really happy they are in for testing WOOHOO!

How's about a side profile of the tire guys

Mounted the tires on the Volk 8.5x17's, and test fit them on MR BBS 8x17...perfect fitment with stock struts . 9sec9 has been taking photos and will post them up in a few.

*sends my credit card information*

I have the AMS drag brakes front and rear on my car, so I can fit a much smaller tire, but I would totally rock these if the weight is that similar. I already saved 70 pounds from brakes, like 20 going to RPF1's, and now another 30 maybe on tires. That's great
