I ask because i run a totally stock ignition system but why do i see many of the quickest/fastest evo's running some sort of COP?

Because people never push the cars to see when or if they will ever need certain parts. They just assume.

What works for 1 setup doesnt always work for the other.. I was making 700whp on my very 1st setup with 37r and was blowing out spark.. I dont liek to gap plugs to .019 so I put BR COP and made 735whp.. we didnt beleive it.. Put back stock and 700whp and BR COP again 735whp.. This was long before i even had my shop and was selling BR parts.

Understood.

Only reason i ask is that i figured at a certain level we all may be leaving some much needed HP on the table by not trying out a COP system.....how much though? Guess i have to cough up the cash to find out! lol

Mike proved it in the above post.

Watching the video as i type i like how you make a whole production out of it Al

What I said wasnt a knock on the BR Cop. I'm sure it works well. I was speaking of parts overkill in general.

I understand.. My comment was in general even though i quoted you.. What worked for AL didnt work for us.. We needed more fire power Not to mention now on E85 we needed a CDI COP no doubt..

Hey Al, I got two clips from Atco yesterday, sadly we were the only two other evos there? What happened to everyone I thought it was supposed to be a decent couple of cars showing up?
Anyway heres what I got..You can see your suspension at work better this way, atco lets me get a pretty cool angle off the line.

Al, unafraid to show his face and speak--unafraid to be judged--makes the coolest videos. After each pass this emoticon describes him: .

Kudos to you BRO! Keep Boosting!

The car leaves nice!!!!! I didn't realize you toned down the power. Makes sense when you have to adjust to a big change. Gotta stay safeish....

What size tire are you running?
