Mike @ AWD is a genious - my new AWD suspension rules FTW!

I am so happy that I ditched my Tein coil over set up and went with the AWD D2 coil over set up with the AWD propreitary spring rates.

After watching how well Mike's car rolled off the line on his 8.7 pass I knew that his suspension was dialed in really well

Well all I have changed was the AWD coil overs - performance alignment from our master Ferrari technician and a spool in the rear diff and now my car is launching S M O O T H as silk and its no longer wheel hoping

I cut a fast 1.53 and 1.54 60' and I know there are better 60's in the car when I get more practice

I was really happy to run into the 9's for the 5th year in a row tonight with Buschur Power!

Thanks again Mike @ AWD

I highly recomend the suspension from AWD

Nice Al. F*** the police!!!!!

Your vids are always entertaining. I'm glad you went with the awd coilovers to solve that wheel hop. The car must plant! Once you get it dialed and get use to the car, with some 1.3x short times I don't see why you won't go 9.50's. What is your personal best in the car?

BTW, you should get some ink done. Its definitely worth it. I guess you just have to convince the wife, lol.

Convince the wife eh ? LOL, My wife is becomming a tatoo addict.

My big issue is the permanent nature - what If I wanted to change them later.

The best time in the car was a 9.50 with the Gt42 - I think it can get down to 9.40 or 9.30 with me driving

For now I need to go back to my last back housing on the turbo as it seems I lost about 4 - 6 mph with the larger T4 back housing since my lastg outting

Its all good - one step at a time

I am happy as I have been running a full year on the same Buschur short block and its holding up 100% and I was able to run laps all day yesterday in 95 degree temps with no problems - I'm really happy with the car

Yes stock coils and HKS Twin fire FTW

It amazes me to see the popularity of these so called "coil on plug systems" which are of no use according to my testing.

Really haven't seen any gains by using them

I ask because i run a totally stock ignition system but why do i see many of the quickest/fastest evo's running some sort of COP?

I personally prefer a stock coil with the HKS twin fire

That is the plan

I had the power down a bit at yesterday's trip sop that I could do a lot of runs and just try to get the best method for launching and tire pressure set up etc

I highly recomend the AWD suspension
