Not to put you on the spot - but
Are you going to the original DSM Shootout of the guy who built your drag car next week or the NJ event ?>
Al
Front tire smokes/ spins on 1st gear! Maybe lower the pressure next time.
I thought one of the rules on Bounty hunter is all the guys/Evos never been to 9's?
Mike
We rebuilt our drag car and re-tuned it fyi.
We are hitting up a test and tune either this Sunday or Wed to prepare the car. It is still up in the air for which event we will be attending.

Which ever event you choose to attend, I do hope you take the car to one of them and run it.

The Evo really behaves a lot like a FWD car right off the line until the vicous diff gets pumped up and sends the TQ to the rear.
I am going to try and lower the tire pressue and also drop the nose down more to try and get more traction on the front.
Heck, how was I to know you "rebuilt" the Buschur Drag Car? What have you guys done to it ? Any threads with the details and pictures? It was a fairly amazing car when you bought it in the spring so I am very interested to see what you guys did to improve upon an already kick *** machine. Don't forget I watched that car from the day it was rolled in as a wrecked POS all through its build up by master buschur into the work or art it eventually became over several years of work.

We will not be attending the event in Jersey by any means. I screwed up with my wording since we are still finishing up some tuning work on Luke's newly added 80mm FP Red evo 9 as I speak at 1:40 in the morning.
The goal is to hit a test and tune up to dial the car in as well as we can, then pack up and head to Ohio. I am not making excuses, the work load here has increased considerably so it is still in the air by being able to make the Buschur Shootout and be prepared in time.
I screwed up with my wording, still finishing up tuning work and getting tired. It's been one hell of a week.
We will not be attending the Jersey event by any means 110%.

Well we broke our T-case and main diff in the Tranny on our first outing. Since then we re-built our tranny and put a quaife unit in our T-case. We also re-tuned the car.

It seems that you "repaired" a few minor items which broke on the car and did more tuning.
That is not a rebuild.
Hope to see you in Ohio.

Congrats on the 9's Al, you are consistent, 9's more years in a row than anyone else! haha
Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else this weekend.
DG, you really have to find the time to bring the car back to Ohio and run it this weekend. A lot of money has been posted and you don't want to miss the biggest Mitsu event in the world. Besides, I'd like to see the old car again and see how it runs.

I would like to get these N1's to work better on mine before I give Mikey anymore $$$
