Took the car out yesterday to the track to get used to the slciks (Stock rims/ MT motorcycle slicks) before the shootout. I have 2 years of pure abuse on this Buschur trans, nothing less than 600+ WHP, NLS all the time, and A TON of passes... It has definitely taken the most abuse of any trans I have every ran so far. Will get another one to replace it, no doubt. The car bogged at the line on the first pass (low boost 30 psi, 1.8/10.8@135), second pass (high boost 37 psi.1.9/10.7@143) I still couldn't get the car to leave. 3rd pass I raised the 2 step 200 RPM's to 7200 and it finally felt like it was going to get of the line and boom. A bad sounds came at the end of 1st and that was all she wrote. It was 97 deg. and the DA was aweful. She has a 9 in there somewhere.
I have to appologise for not being able to bring the car to the Shootout. I really wanted to race again this year in Ohio. However, I am trying to button things up this week and I "might" be able to pull it off. Regardless, I will be at the race on Sunday to support. I'll post the pics of the slips and vids of the runs soon.

 

sucks to hear, But that tranny held together for a long time, under a lot of abuse!

 

Time to call master Buschwaker and put together a quick trans fix!

If you need something let me know.. If he doesnt have cores i have a core i am sure i can send up there.. If you can afford to get it fixed i would jump on it so you can race the shootout..

Dont forget we have a 500.00 bounty for 1st to 9's and We are paying 100.00 extra if its done at the shotoout.. that can help pay for the repairs!!!

Hope that's it for you...... that was the very first thing i checked on mine as it seems to be very similar to the DSM's.
