The video of that run states you were on BFG's which would make more since. 9000rpms on a 26" tire would put you in the upper 140mph range with an Evo8 4th gear.

oh I must have made a mistake. Originally I had BFG DR's on stock 17" rims, but later changed to the 15" M&H DOT DR, they re considerably softer and a little taller. I'm pretty sure I was using them when I did the e85 run 10.44 @ 139.8 (spinning and bouncing)

here is the start of my boost spoolup testing. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...es-tested.html next will be on the actual street and then EBC VS MBC and what spools up faster in the lower gears and when you shift. the tests will probably be around 34/35 psi

The manual will win, what manual are you testing?

I run alot of WG spring pressure, and a needle valve from a local hydro shop setup to regualte boost to the top of the gate. Works good.

I will be using a hallman mbc vs apexi Avcr. I run 22 PSI springs in each waste gate.

Can you explain this quicker spool with using the top port on the waste gate? Thanks.

went to the track today. not a good day. sat in line for nearly 3 hours. i only got 1 pass in. and of course i messed it up. but i can tell the car is gonna crank when i get it right. boost is holding and hitting so much harder/cleaner. this was 35/6 psi

1.78 60
car was braking up some too. ''i think it needs new plugs''
missed 3rd gear
11.0
136

not happy with this at all. but you cant run perfect every time. the car is going to Ivey tune for a finished 100oct tune and 38/9psi. so we can stop dillying around. maybe this week.
