Nice man I just saw this now, trap is solid. The 60 ft is hurting thats why the ET isnt where youre expecting. Keep an eye on tire pressures, prolly wouldnt hurt letting some air out of the tires. I know you usually just leave the air pressure how you drove it there Maybe the clutch is acting up too still, did you get that figured out? Check tire pressures and maybe raise up the 2step.

Dan, great job on the 140+mph traps, thing is moving for sure.

After reviewing your videos I think I can see where your problem is. Your 10.37 pass your 1-2 shift was VERY responsive (not talking about how fast the shift was, but the recovery time), while your passes in the 140 range didn't seem as responsive on recovery. My bet is you lost the ET on the 330 ft. from the 1-2 shift. That shift is so important to hit just right. It DOES make a world of difference with our cars with the short gear ratios we have.
I also noticed the car didn't sound as responsive on the 2-3 shift and 3-4 shift, sounds like it's falling out of boost a little on shifts? Maybe it's due to you running more boost now vs your pump gas tune with lower boost? obviously with more boost it's going to take a tad more time to build boost over lower boost levels on shifts.
Are you NLTSing? Or lift shifting?

i am not NLTS'ing yet. i want to but im afraid too. at the moment im letting off the gas and pushing the clutch in. ''like normal'' tire pressure i didnt check until i was gonna go home. a buddy kept telling me to lower it lower it but i wasnt listening as i wanted to figure out other issues first. tire psi after my 10.4 was 37psi.

here are my time slips. old VS new. i just noticed my 1/8th mph is slower then my pump 1/8th mph.

yep, the 60' is slower, I'm sure the 37psi of tire pressure wasn't working as well. I wonder what your shift points were on the old vs new, did you log the passes? I noticed my 1/8th mile traps were down one time and I discovered that I needed to wind it out further

My shift points where about the same as my 10.3 pass. Right sound 8500 in each gear. On pump I was crossing the line around 8700/8800rpm. Now I'm hitting rev limit at 9000rpm.

Would you be willing to tell me what your shift points are. Maybe I need to shift even higher? I remember on pump gas i was shifting at 8k and trwppingapping low 130s. Then I added 500 rpm per shift and hit 137.

O sorry. No I don't have logs. Its an fcon and I can't log it. I suppose I can log rpm and other stuff threw the stock Ecu though. My shift point is I guess around HAHA. I aim for 8500 but I'm sure its not perfect u know.

I'm pretty sure I was shifting at 8500 and hanging 4th out to 9k+, my full weight evo went 10.41@135 on 93 octane like that with a 1.7 60'

Hum. Do you NLTS? If my rpm is good and my 3/4 track is in par with my 10.3 but a higher trap being on 100oct then I'm thinking it must be something else. I can't see. 1.68 to 1.71 making a minimum .40 E/T difference. But that's a beginner talking

Theres way to many variables in drag racing to try and figure out every difference between runs, i wouldnt worry about it too much.

Master Ivey brought up a good possibility. He said that maybe the car is not hitting full boost in the lower gears. I run a apexi Avcr ebc. We are going to try a MBC and see how that works out. I notice in the lower gears it does take a while to hit full boost. But I figured it was a laggy boost gauge because its a ****ty stri electronic one. So I'm putting a mbc on and a micanical boost gauge on the car.

Pretty much what I was thinking, Let us know the outcome!
