When I turned the boost back up to the 590whp range I ran a 9.959@138.67. Not to mention my 60' was also about a tenth of a second better than yours (1.47). Far too many factors involved for it to be an apples to apples comparison. I think our comparison is just of one car being better setup than the other more than anything.
You obviously don't understand how the split times/mph on the front half affect the back half, and it also appears your making an amateur mistake of comparing dyno numbers between dynos that have been shown to read completely different. If by "setup better" your referring to me having stock brakes on my street car instead of small racing brakes that eliminates the use of my e-brake, then by all means yes your car is setup better.

RYU not to talk trash but wasn't your 590whp on a "low reading" mustang dyno and his is on a standard reading no bs dyno? I think it is petty to talk about the brakes, what about the Giro brakes that DB sells which have proven to provide HP on the dyno. That would further optimize the setup with less rotational weight. I know it isn't the smaller AMS brakes but they still are lighter brakes. No excuses... Run what you brought.

Great job Junkie, I hope the red brings you to low 10's

The only thing thats petty is lilev hopping in this thread and taking a cheap jab at my driving ability. I have done nothing but compliment him on his car and achievement in the past. I simply came in here and gave my Congrats to the op and I get sicker punched with cheap shots.

No, I was referring to your tune on meth compared to my tune on E85 . If you read anything I said before jumping on the defense, you will not see anywhere where I attacked your driving ability. You were saying that my driving comparison was skewed, but you're comparing apples to oranges because our setups are totally different. I never even mentioned your name. You're too defensive Ryu.

Remember though, the STM car did it on the stock block, turbo_junkie is lucky and has a built motor, which should make a lot of difference (if the compression is higher, and it's ported of course). I know when brian ran Lana on the red, he went 9.53 @ 145 mph!

Which makes me want a 10.5:1 motor SO bad right about now Over this winter, I am building a motor, no question!

Since were on the topic of driving ability, whats your best track time vs mph?

I did a 1:09.xx with a speed of 72mph across the finish line. Oh you were talking about going in a straight line? I was talking about turning and braking too!

One trick pony.

I ran an 11.1@129mph @ 3460 lbs on RE-01R's... on my 2nd pass. in NOVEMBER.... in 30 degree weather... on the dew point.

Doesn't excuse the fact that YOU can't drive HAHA!

We need to find a way to get you, me, awddyno, turbojunkie, and a bunch of the other guys together for a big meet sometime. It would be cool to meet all of the guys and get some good runs in with people that can get their cars there!
