Maybe TT can have it at Atco? They might be a little easier going on the tech stuff

I am in denile.. The subaru RS Coupe with the swap (the racecar) got beat in the semis by one of our cars. Then said subaru owner complained to staff about the street evo not having a cage. Then they immediately DQ the evo and give the win to the canadian subaru driver to race a subaru that had gone faster then 11.5 twice in the day, Which would go on to lose and take 2nd place.. Great job of being selective on the one warning before DQ. The owner of the Impreza coupe got his *** handed to him and was nothing less then OUT DRIVEN by a full street car that took the win before the DQ. Why even bother with a final round if its going to be a cage or no cage finish lol. I had such a terrible weekend.

BTW E-town also has been kicking people out of track rentals for no cages as well..If anything this is forcing alot of people to take it to the street..

I really wish they had a track on Long island....Driving all the way to jersey is a pain in the *** and on top of the drive your car has to have a cage and all the safety equipment ...How can a stock car that can run faster then a 11.5 not be considered safe ? lol

Agreed that was bullsh*t. I thought that you had to run a DOT approved tire also for that class. I might have been mistaken but i think that subaru had a full slick. it also says a WRX or STI vs Evo not RS vs Evo. But it was pretty slow for a fully gutted race car. i wish they would of let me go again i would have handed him his ***.

Jay didn't complain about that car at all. Etown was watching who did what to make things fair. Your customer should have brought a legal car to race with at a race track like Jason did by bring his race car.

DOT tire on the RS
Unless your evo goes 9s@140+ I doubt you would have been handing anyone their ***.. The RS goes 9s and was only playing with low boost since everything else in the class was either not qualified to go fast or slow.. You could have won 2nd though.. an 11.4@122 MPH STI did that

Hopefully a larger and more liked shop will sponsor the event next year.

His car was not full interior, we can go back and fourth on this but thats a pretty crappy way to take a trophy..He was totally banking on the no cage factor.. Gay.

I know Jeff, Bean and Keith for over 12 years now. They are the right shop to sponsor the race in NJ.

I think the event should be held the latest in Sept. Or earliest in June / July.

I think the fact that Mitsu guys dont follow the rules is ridiculous. Alot of cars running safety equipment gain 200-300 lbs and spend thousands on doing it. Why are the guys running safety equipment doing it? Because those are the rules! For example, I added a engine pan to my car last week, as the rules stated. It took an entire day to do, but it was done. No excuses.

In addition, A lot of the fast cars broke the week before. I know everyone has set their car to kill, but now they are super unreliable.

Here is my only good pass of the day. Hit the brakes at the 1000 mark
