You can also get the BFG G-Force Sport in that size:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes
Those will probably last longer than the drag radials but won't yield good 60 foot times like the DR's.

Sure!

I just started looking at some other wheels that may fit.

Buddy Club P1 QF
16x7 +42
11.1lbs!
Cost varies from $600 to $700 for all 4. These will need spacers as well but its possible they could be closer to factory wheel with the right spacer.

Just throwing out another option besides the FD and Slipstream wheels.

$689 shipped here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-BU...-/260753874040
Those should be in stock.

I just can't guarantee the barrel fits around the front caliper. The ebay seller told me 15-16 lbs each so I'm not sure how much they really weigh.

the 17.8 was 14.4lbs. my guess is the 16 inch rim is at least 2 lbs less.

a lot of places claim there in stock. call them and ask. and make sure they see them on the shelf.

edit

OOPS. there not the rims i was looking at. there the heavier versions. look up the P1-QF rims. there supper light and discontinued. what you have is in deed still being made. just heavier then the qf series

Well if they really weigh 15-16lbs than I guess I can cross them off the list. Sucks they stop making the lighter version. Thanks!

sorry to bring back an old thread

i want to run a 16" wheel with either a hoosier qtp or a m/t et street radial, but im confused about which wheel. Do i want a wheel with a high offset, or a low offset? would prefer to run a wheel w/o a spacer.

what about the 16x8 +48 slipstream?

or for the low offset, the varrstoen v3 16x8 +25

You'll have to run a spacer with any 16" wheel to clear the stock evo brakes. If you don't want to run a spacer then look into a small drag brake kit. Stm, brake man, and AMS offer them.
