Had my first run at the track today!

Took the evo to a local 1/8 mile track to see what she would do. Recently had Mellon do a tune and was anxious to run it. Ive also never ran a manual car at the strip. Anyways, the car went 8.04 @ 85 mph. 1.73 60'. Ran consistent 8.1x's but that was my best. I know it has 7's in it but i got rained out early and it was 86* with 90% humidity lol. What kind of 1/4 would one typically see with an 1/8 around there just curious i hope to find out for sure asap.

1/8th mile to 1/4 mile conversion would be 8.04x1.55=12.46

awesome haha i plan to take it to a nicer track for the 1/4 on a cooler day than that. The track i went to was literally up hill you would roll out of double stage if you didnt have the e brake held lol. Im sure it wasn't much but i mean if you are rolling slowly in the staging lane im sure the track hurts your time.

I went 7.7 @ 89.8 in the 1/8 last time I was at the track, the full pass was a 12.007 @ 114, 1.69 60'.

Get that 60' down and you should be able to hit 7s.

not bad for you first run in a manual. I'm sure it'll pickup quite a bit when we get out of these near 100-115* heat indexes too.

You're still on the stock turbo, right? Ever had it on a dyno (I know Mellon does over-the-net stuff)? If not how much power are you estimated at?

And here's the big one, when're you shifting? NLTS?

When i went to mellon we saw 305/305 @25psi but this was during that heat wave. i think the day of was like ~86* with ~106* heat index or so and we hot lapped the car and we didn't do a pull just for a number because i care about the track time not the number. Yes it is a stock turbo. I think all the mods i have i have listed in the sig if im not mistaken. Never had it on a dyno. I launched it off the 6500 2 step and started shifting about 7500 i figured i would be at 8k by the end of the shift but it was more like 7800 so i may go deeper in the shift.
