Also, you're better off between 5850-6200 launch rpm
That was my point as well.

I'm at 10 psi boost on the 2 step. I think my biggest problem is I'm nervous to launch, if I have the slightest bit of wheel hop, I back off. It may have to do with I've had my car on the road maybe 2 months this entire year and over $13,000.00 in repairs and upgrades I can't practice launching on the street to prep for the track since it does fine on the street so trying to soak up any suggestions to eliminate wheel hop all together. I have the Engalls Damper, Wavetrac LSD to help, now front and hopefully side mounts.

I have crap tires that're uneven and bald in some spots and cut 1.6 60ft's almost everytime. Exedy Twin HD for a clutch. I run 26-30psi in the tires. Raising your 2 step RPM will just beat on the clutch more if you haven't already figured out the technique. If you can't launch at 5500, going up is only going to make matters worse and cost money.

You need to just barely light the 2nd light up when your staging, and release the clutch sooner. I have a feeling you're rolling off the line starting the timers and then launching which will result in a skewered time essentially. Watch a video of a 1.5 60ft on a car and notice how they come out of the hole.

You either got it or you don't.

I agree on his driving but tire pressure makes a huge difference too.

idk man, i would pull consistant 1.7's all day on normal 32psi tire pressure on my street tires... similar setup minus 2.3... 1.7 isn't even GOOD. Its just ok. Maybe raise 2-step to 6100 and let the clutch go a little quicker.. (quick enough that it would bog at ur 5500 2step now)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I installed both side motor mounts yesterday and noticed some tears in my oem mounts. I did the boost leak test and finally prepped for the track in the morning. This morning I'm going to try different techniques on the street and hope to get it down right. I just want to get one good launch at the track, I think MIR preps the track maybe too good. When I got my 1.7, I still wheel hopped regardless. I have video of the runs I might upload and see if someone can break down what I'm doing wrong of my in car cam.

This run I got locked out of 4th, 25 psi tire pressure:

This run 20 psi tire pressure:

Maybe I'm not slipping enough. I got my best time (12.2@116) with no launch at all, so might just stick with that. No wheel hop, but a 2.0 60 foot. I passed the second light, and as I was backing up to the lights, the tree started already, still best run to date though.

Im courious at what RPM your turbo spools. On a big turbo it can be harder to launch because it takes more RPM to keep from falling out of spool . It takes a ton of experimenting to slip the clutch just right. I also launch at 6800 because i dont get full spool til 5000.

That is some pretty bad wheel hop in your vids. Better fix that before something breaks. Delrim rear trailing arm bushings (AMS), solid drive shaft center support bushings (Torque Solution) and rear differential mount inserts will make a huge difference.
