Smile Bubbas mission for 11s.

Went to the track last week ran a 12.2 with my twin disk slipping due to my clutch fork stop needing to be adjusted, so I knew what had to be done. I was on a mission yesterday I went to a test and tune at Englishtown NJ, and Got to say I was pretty happy. car is full weight 3400lbs, AC, power steering, All seats, And spare, with crap all in the trunk.

Mods are as follows:
Stock block, head, and drivetrain.
BBk full ported with FP anti serge housing
S2 cams
Supertech valve springs and retainers
ARP headstuds
ETS short route piping
AMS intercooler
SpoolinUp COP
Exedy twin disk
950cc injectors
speed density
map 02 dump
Mil-spec stock ported intake mani
Mil-spec stock 65mm ported throttle body
buschur ported exhaust manifold
Built by Line it up performance in farmingdale NY and Tuned by E-spec at Tach motorsports. Car made 480hp and 408tq tuned on E-85.

This is my 3rd time down the track with this car and the first two passes were with my clutch slipping last week.

I know if I work on my 60' i should nail the time a little lower but for now I'm happy..

andrew you should have a quest to get your car together, and run down the 1/4 before the seasons over. Stay on Dsmtuners.com, Honda-tech, B20vtec.com, galantVr4.org, NYCCDSM.com, 4g61t.com, your restricted from Evolutionm.net.

You have more in it if you can get the 60' down. At least another .2.

Don't start doing your 2 step until the other guy has lit up both staging lights. You probably had the turbo hot as ***** just doing that bobbing of the 2 step, then holding it when he did light it up just doesn't work well. It's like asthma for your turbo.

Cutting a 1.7 60ft, with this runs driving recreated, I think you possibly could've gone 93-94mph in the 1/8th, maybe going 11.60.

Even as heavy as your car is you should still be going mid 120's with that turbo and supporting mods.

a tenth faster on your 60ft is 2 tenths faster on your final time. for example when i was at the track i was running consistent 12.51-12.56 with a consistent 1.81-1.83 60ft i pulled a good launch with a 1.72 60' and went 12.36

Nice job on the 11.8 ET considering that this was only your third 1/4 mile run!

As A cody92talon pointed out, 1/10th off the 60' time is usually good for at least 2/10's off the 1/4 mile ET. So if you had a 60' time of 1.7XX (relatively easy on street tires at your power level) your 1/4 mile ET would have been in the 11.3XX to 11.4XX range.
