Congrats on getting the 8's finally! No easy feat that is for sure! Very clean car by the way and congrats on the fastest IX in the US as well What will be the next goals for the car? There is always the next goal to go once one has been achieved

Thanks,

Obviously that isn't a slow time; any idea why you didn't run 8s?

With all the other cars running in Q16 I am surprised to see that time take 2nd place. I read that the STM RS ran a 8.7 on its first practice run. Did they break down before running on Sunday?

Cars break a LOT in the Q16 class. It's almost guaranteed that 2+ of the quickest cars in the class will break before eliminations. Then it comes down to consistency and who is quicker down the track and off the tree. It appeared that a good handful of racers lost due to a poor pass when the competitor made a cleaner run.

UPDATE!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I just want to post that there are a couple changes being made to the Junk Box this week and next. I am finally getting a staging brake and the rear wilwood small brake kit. About time I did some savings in rotational mass lol. I am picking up the rear brakes Tuesday and getting the staging brake on. I have been launching off the stock E-brake and the car has stock rotors and brakes in the rear. Finally that is all going to be changed.

- Rear Wilwood Small Brake Kit
- CNC Staging brake removing the stock E-Brake assembly
- More weight reduction if there's time.

Those are going to be the changes to the car as of right now. We are going back to the track next weekend! I cant wait. Stay tuned for pics and more updates!!
