Thanks Man! The 12 point gage and chute mount added about 120lbs to the car. I def need the cage, but without it, it would be a lot lighter. So far for the 2013 season I already dropped about 50-60lbs off the car. Some more to come

 

did you have issues with the shifting in your evo????

 

The only issue I would have at times is lock out because of worn syncros and clutch. Trying to slam gears @ 9K+ RPM on a stock standard transmission is very tough. I did go 8s on it, but Im stoked for the Dog Box for the 2013 season

How are you liking the F1i intake?

 

I made a new thread in this section from my IDRC event results back at the end of May. I did go a little quicker this year thus far. I went 8.96@162mph. Car has A LOT more room to go as that was my first full track day out. I was en-route to a quicker pass on the third pass that weekend, but blew a freeze plug which ended my day. From what It looked like, the car would have gone 8.8. I have brand new slicks on the car and I need them to get scuffed up a little bit lol. They are still real slick, and they are spinning.

I will be back out next weekend with the car. I plan to go 8.5 this season at some point so will see what happens. My goal next time when I go out is around 8.7 still on the T3 6766

The AMS F1-I intake manifold I've had for a couple seasons now. I really like it, and have had great success with it.

 

Congrats - Now get this thing to the shootout next month because I want to see the car in person!

I'm heading to the track this weekend on Saturday. It's going to be my first time out since the IDRC event in May on Memorial Day Weekend. Looking forward to getting back out there and setting a new PB. Best so far 8.96@162mph. Can't wait for the weekend
