21st ANNUAL DSM/EVO SHOOTOUT
I didn't see anything on it, but can I race in Max Effort Saturday... then Stock Appearing on Sunday? $65 or whatever both days, that's fine, but are we allowed to race two events?
If all goes well Saturday and Ricer and I are both feeling frisky Sunday, why not!? I'm up another 55 HP on the MAP EF3, i ran an 11.1@131 last year, so lets let her rip! I want that 10!
My Shop Assist (us at evodynamics) will have a vendor booth at this event, and we are going to try something new!
The MY Shop Assist PIT STOP CHALLENGE!!!! Dave gave us the ok for this, so here is the challenge:
2 person teams, any two people. we provide the floor jack, two 4 way tire irons, and a torque wrench.
step 1: you'll create your "job" within my shop assist (we will have ipads at the booth to do so). basically entails signing in.
step 2: MSA has a timer, where you will hit the start button and commence changing all 4 wheels on the car. once your team of two is done and all 4 wheels are torqued, you hit the stop button in MSA.
step 3: challenge your friends to beat your time!
we will give the fastest time of the weekend 2x 200 dollar Whiteline gift certificates redeemable through Evolution Dynamics (one for each team member).
second place will receive 2x 75 dollar Whiteline gift certificates.
it costs nothing to enter your FIRST try. you can try as many times as you want, but after the first try, its 5 dollars per person per attempt (10 dollars for a team to try a second time), which will go towards a charity of Dave Buschurs Choosing.
Anyone can enter in any combination of friends. If STM thinks they are fast, i'm sure the guys at buschur will want to prove otherwise. LOL. if you and your friends are there to watch and not associated with a shop, come prove that you have what it takes to beat everyone else.
IDEALLY we would like to use an evo. so if someone has a evo they dont mind loaning out for this event (a rolling shell would work nice), i will bring the wheels, spare lug nuts and studs. and i'll even give a new set of ARP extended studs for loaning the vehicle. Otherwise we are going to rent a car. contact me if you have something we can use!
