Sounds like several big builds skipped the dyno comp because there are several well over that number.

damn i always miss this.. Maybe next year.

 

I drove up, watched the test n tune for a little while, made a couple passes. Only to find out I apparently have a boost leak or some other issue I wasn't aware of ... slowest passes I've made in 2 years. There didn't seem to be any major break-downs that I saw. Someone broke down around 10pm that took the better part of 45 minutes to clean up, but I didn't hear about any big failures.

I was impressed to see how far away some cars were from to attend this event. The winner goes to the GTRs from Oregon and Washington state.


Track conditions seemed optimal last night though... got down to 60 degrees towards the end of the test n tune session.

 

Can't believe I'm not there....

 

I know of one motor with a rod hanging out of it. :-(

 

Can some one tell me why evos like to run mint in ur home town but strap them to a trailer and head to the shoot out 600 miles away and NOW they decide to want to act up lol.

Well.. Alex@dogbox ran 3 or 4 sub 8 sec passes. Last one was 8.5@170...
