Just booked my hotel, for those who havnt booked yet, better hurry!! They are almost full

My first time going, just booked at Motel 6

 

I booked my room at Motel 6 a couple weeks after the 2012 Shootout.

 

ok, so cancel your room then I can reserve one there cause they're booked full

 

How did you check?

The only way you can book a room with Motel 6 is if you call and tell them you are booking for the Shootout. If not they will say its full Same goes for trying to book on the internet. I had a few friends run into this issue haha.

 

Motel 6 still has rooms, I just called back and was able to reserve another room. I called yesterday and was told they were booked full, either someone cancelled or the woman made a mistake.

 

tried online, then when it said booked up I called to check and she said it was.. that was months ago

I booked at the super 8 across the street from the campground/motel 6. I did it online and they said they had rooms.

It seems the hotels there are confused. I have seen countless times where someone says one hotel is full, but then if you go online, they are available, then vice versa as well, says full online, you call and get a room.

I wish I would have known the motel 6 was still taking reservations, but my buddy called them a few days ago, told them it was for the shootout and they said they were booked lol.

 

Yeah we have the econolodge, same as every year!
