Disappointing track = disappointing numbers
Went to an Italian Drag racing event near Modena, Italy (birthplace of Enzo Ferrari) this weekend to see what the car can do. It was a nice event, surprisingly alot of Italians showed up with old school muscle (sadly no ferrari's were there) but it was on a unprep'd air strip and everybody was having traction issues.
I only got 4 runs in and I f_ck'd up the first 2 from bogging out the hole
. On the last 2 I ran a 12.2 and a 12.3 @ 118. My best 60ft was a shi*y 2.1 from spinning all of 1st, this was even with tire pressure down to 20psi all around. But I'm still on stock suspension and summer tires so I can't blame it all on "the track." Think I can improve on this a lil bit once I upgrade to the STM SPEC D2's and the M&H Racemaster drag radials.
So what do ya'll think, should I have ran better dispite the conditions? Driver mod? Based on my best times, what do ya'll think I should run with the upgrades and a better 60ft. I'll post the video of my best run when I get home. Thanks!

^^^^ and I agree with you but real tracks are hard to find around here. Majority of the events here are like this, the drag racing scene is not that big here, so this is what I have to work with.

I turned the boost down to 29psi on the my last two passes. I thought this along with the lowered tire pressure would help my 60ft since I was spinning so much. Next season i'll have DR's and the STM D2's, so i'll put the boost back up to 31.
So your thinking mid 11's if I would of got the 60ft dailed in?

Just looked at my time slip and watched the vid from the run. My time slip is saying that the guy I ran against had a 122 trap speed but when I watched the vid he just rolled thru, WTF. So there were sh*t's wrong for traps. I have no idea what i trapped then, wft. Pointless thread. I'll try again next year.
