Drag racing setup

Hey guys I was wondering if anybody might be able to help me out as far as setting up my car to hook and get traction outta the hole. Ive got 15 inch m and h slicks and awd d2 spec coilovers but she still spins like crazy all the way down the track. I put my tire pressure down to 14 psi and it was all over the place causing me to lift my foot off the gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

so come to find out my left rear was 1 inch lower than my right rear so hopefully this was the only cause of my car getting all over the place. Oh lol it needs an alignment too anybody know of any specs? I read somewhere on here about +2 in the front and -2 in tthe rear but cant find it for the life of me. Also, how many use boost by gear and nlts? I really wanna come outta the hole with everything shes got and not use boost by gear but nlts will definately be used im sure.

For your alignment specs I think you got those backwards you would want negative in the front nd positive in the rear Bea cause when you launch the front will lift up causing your tires to tilt out at the top and the back will await which causes the tires to tilt in at the top of the tire. So -2 in the front and +2 in the rear should be right around 0 when you launch and give you Max traction

maybe a burnout would help you?? get some heat in your tires i'm sure that would help tons. or if you can hot lap it come back around and run again that way there is still heat in your tires. doesnt seem like you chould be spinning that much ragardless but i also dont make near the power you do

lmao oops yea i did get those backwards my bad and thanks for clearing that up for me. I always try to do a burnout just toying with the anti lag trying to figure out where to set it at is also a crucial point im at. I would try to hot lap it but Ive have some much bad luck with headgaskets its got me paranoid. Its getting aligned and corner balanced this week so hopefully within the next few weeks I can get her to the track. I think seat time is what i need bad too. This last time out was the first time in 5 months with several new things added and over 100 horsepower more. What about dampening on coilovers? Does anybody have any insight on that? I tried stiff in he front and full soft in the back lol it didnt work to well. Ive also tried full soft all the way around and the car bounced terribly

I run the 15" M/H 24.5" Slicks with the AWD D2 coilovers as well. My best 60ft to date, which is a 1.40 my slicks were 12PSI in the front and 10PSI in the rear. It all just depends on the track prep and codition of course. I would try going that low. That where i put mine at.
