I can clearly see the nose of your car dropping completely down every time you shift. I'd be willing to bet your losing a significant amount of boost in between gears.

Here is my time slip with nearly the same mph and my car is right around 3,000 LBS without driver as well.

Your 1/8th mph is imo quite a bit low as well in comparison to your 1/4 mph which also tells me your losing boost in between gears in the front half and the car is simply making up for it by staying in 4th on the back end.

Heres me in Feb with the old turbo setup, 7 year old 3582R, with a power fc commander it made 650hp mustang dyno here Las Vegas, over 100 degrees hot hot! Stock suspension, low comp 7year old 2.1L with old BC 280 cams, car weighted 3250lbs wt driver! Old M/T motorcycle slicks evo 8 enkeis! Is all on the driving my friend! Shift like you stoleit! that pass was with no 2step 0boost off the line!

Now Making a little over 700hp 40psi on new SHEEPEY FF 6466 same BC CAMS, STOCK SUSPENSION, car weights 3100wt driver, ran a best of 9.250@152mph competing at IFO Las Vegas!
Now 45psi and a little less weights going for the 8s In fomoso raceway track in Cali

The key is to shift fast my friend very fast!

Thumbs up

Oh this might help too, a few weeks before the 9.6@146 i went 9.8@144 with 600hp mustang dyno same setup just less boost! with a little more weight, bout 3300lbs with driver! stock FD, 2nd gear syncro goes out like every 40-50 passes but cheap and very easy to change, worthit!

So yea with your hp,weight,mph,60ft you can definitely run a mid 9 buddy, from 1st to 2nd is where is at, i ussually shift @8krpm then 3-4 8500 or less! Works for me
goodluck, getit done!

So in conclusion, its all about your shifting. Get that 1-2 down and try NLTS

You're right, my nose is dipping and that could be the other reason. I need to look at my NLTS settings. Thanks!

Thanks! A mid 9 would be sweet and it would become colorado's quickest Evo. Honestly I'd be happy with a 9.999.

1/8th MPH needs to be over 110mph. that would be the biggest help to your ET believe it or not. NLTS every gear. First half of the track is most important and you will get it done.

I took my evo 4 out just recently, had a few issues but the best run which was the first one had a real slow 1-2 shift to the point where it dropped off boost. Did 1.66 60ft 4.7 330ft and et of 10.5 @138 car is running 790@ the axles, that was on street tires on an unprepped track. I am hoping to break into the nines, i am going to drop some weight and add slicks. What are peoples thoughts?
