11 Second EVOs
11 Second EVOs
I was just wondering how many EVOs do you guys think have run sub 12 second 1/4 mile times. I know there are some we don't know about, and probably wont ever know about, but I figure there are a good amount of EVOs in the 11s, I think I know about 15-20 off hand, there probably is many more? Do you guys have any idea? I also know that alot of you are very close to 11s (IE EVO and etc.) and by this time next year there might be many hitting 10s.
Does this one qualify? It's not an Evo per se, but it does have a 4G63 taken directly from a wrecked Evo 8.

Actually its a proven "FACT" by the pro drag racers and by looking at ET's by stock cars. The S4's from the east coast ran at Palmdale which sits at 3000 ft, that track is much slower then the rest of the Socal tracks which are also .2-.3 slower then E-town. Our fastest track here is Pomona which does not allow any non NHRA event racing. In the past 3 years I have raced just about every track in Socal(carlsbad, pomona, palmdale, the Q, irwindale and rialto) only one I have not hit yet is the new Barona dragway. I have even done some drag racing at Buttonwillow. One of my sponsors has a few dealers in the NJ area so we know for a fact that the tracks in NJ are much faster vs the ones here in socal. So you can drop the slow ricer argument.
WheresMyEvoRS, that one might not have but Mark's(silverbullet) S4 has and so has a few others since they held the S4 challenge here in CA. I happen to be sponsored by the same tuner as most of those S4's which is GIAC here in Socal.
