i have the video also. i WAS NOT trying to launch hard at all. my 60' was 1.89. the final run was 12.607 @ 110. the 1st run i bogged and missed 2nd but still ran 13.0 @108. this was the 1st time i ran in way over a year, and 1st 12s for the car. also, my car is not tuned all the way yet, my AFR is 10.6 at the highest, i was running a half tank of 93 octane. the funning thing is, i wasnt pushing her hard at all, just racing leisurly to back-to-back-to-back-to-back mid 12's. also, i was granny shifting to save the tranny. if id of given it hell my evo would have done a 12.4 or better as she set that night. the new fuel set-up allows alot more torque than i expected... plus it loves the extra boost(22psi). im not ganna run again until the turbo is on and its dyno tuned.

What mods?

 

intake, turbo back ex., greddy emanage & e-01, rvm ic piping, hybrid/obx intercooler (works really well despite being obx), hks bov, 255 intake pump, 880cc injectors, perrin fuel rail, aeromotive fpr, all braided 06 fuel lines, spec stage 3 clutch, fidanza flywheel. my wide band was reading 10.6 at the leanest which means its very rich. the 12.6 was me taking the run easy. notice my mph. im rying to host the vid. having troubles.

 

I had a 2001 Z28 that would run a 1.89 sixty foot with a 12.6@110. You should be able to hit a 12.2 or so if you launch it hard.

 

i put in race gas tonight and leisurly went a 12.4 @ 113. it could have done a 12.2 or better had i gave it hell.

 

very nice looks like we got another person close to breakin into the 11 second club you should really punch it and see if you can pull it down just a tad more

 

Nice times. I'm surprised to see such good trap on stock cams. What did you change with the car to pick up 3 mph when you ran race gas (leaner? more timing?)?

BTW, in my Z28, I've hit 12.2s@113 with 1.7 60s granny-shifting, so you're definitely in that neighborhood. You must be putting down about 330-340 whp on race gas.

 

sorry, i always forget to add that i have 272 cams (no cam gears though) . the difference between the 2 nights was i leaned it out to 11.1-11.3 and the race gas... same boost(22psi). she definatly loves the race gas.
