Hi guys, in 2 days i`m going to drag with BMW E36 with m5 engine(340hp, Displ.- 3.6)

He said that evo is a crap!!!!

The bet is 500$. Proposition was from my side , because i was so angry !!!!

how did he stick a m5 engine in there? Are you racing him in the quarter or light to light? You might be neck to neck on the quarter. Depending on your launch, its going to be a close call.

Sounds more like the new M3 motor, not saying it can't be done. I'd give the edge to the M3.
Better work on your launches.

 

I would suggest going to an actual track to get your car dialed in before racing that guy. Mods don't mean crap if your car isn't running optimally. With $500 on the line, I'd practice launching and shifting to get everything right before racing. Good luck.

 

Yeah thats not the M5 engine. The M5 comes w/ 394hp and bigger displacement. I think he just stuck the E46 M3 engine in there. So maybe it will break and you'll win.

 

I dunno man thats gonna be pretty tight but it never pays to underestimate the evo just launch well and be on point. 500 ...thats alot of money. Good luck man.
