try it from a stop
clutch all the way down
put it in first gear
rev up your car till it hits the limiter
you should try that, if it doesnt do it with in first gear with clutch down revving it then
it must not be set.

To the OP the 2step isnt a launch technique..its part of the launch control on 05+ evos. You guys say 03-04 doesnt have it i have a 05 so im assuming its safe to say 05+ have it :P

My 2step is set for 6000rpm by the way. Yeh its gunna be rough on the clutch and if you always launch your car at every chance you get then you will put more wear and tear on parts faster.

Dont be afraid to break something..its part of the game. However by keeping yourself informed and not being a douchebag you can greatly reduce the chance you break something.
