have you switched to a different rom from your original? If so this may be the cause as someone else on here who has switched roms is not getting the stationary rev limit to work as well.
Maybe you should try raising the limit to a higher rpm .. maybe 4500rpm and try building up to that rpm slowly....

make sure the car has come to a complete stop for ~5 seconds before trying it. See if that helps.

What ROMid are you? Are you sure that it is at 2500 RPM and not 7500 RPM?

Boost enhancement has nothing to do with 2-step or launch control. Look for an item near the normal RPM limit.

Your ROMID is in the "info" section.

It is called Stationary Rev Limit in the limits section. Stock on an of should be 7969rpm, which you will never see stock. Adjust the stationary rev limit to around 3500rpm to get used to playing with it, before you go crazy doing launches and burning up your clutch, or shredding your tcase.

EVILR......... You need to read the "how to tune an evo" sticky. Its answers all the questions you are having...

Also there is a video on youtube if you type in ecuflash... That will cover up alot of your questions...
