2 Step Launch

Just wondering how you engage the 2 step. Is there anything special you have to do or does it always engage when u stop?

Throttle response will be a little better if you also disable ASC.

Hold down the ASC button for a few seconds to completely turn it off. Put the car into first gear, hold the clutch down, and floor the gas pedal. Slowly let out the clutch until it starts to grab, then let it go.

Yea I'm kind of hesitant to even try launching before getting to whole story. Just seems sooo hard on the car.

I launched once and it grabbed good and all, but I smelled clutch for a couple days after.

Guess I'll just wait til I get the Exedy.

If you do it perfect you wont smell clutch, but i do mean PERFECT. Too fast and you fall on your face, too slow and you burn clutch, quite a *****y little system it is.

I've launched my car about 40+ times and I've only smelled clutch 1-2 times and that was when I first learned how to do it.

If you leave the asc on it will add brakes when it senses a loss in traction, thus slowing you down.
