If someone double clutches on a down change and doesn't rev match then it is worse than not double clutching at all because the slower change means engine looses more rpm that it has to gain in the next gear. Then they have a slow change that is harder on the gearbox. But if someone really wants to double clutch without rev matching, well it's their car.
On an up change it may not be necesary, depending on how quick they change (how many rpm are lost).

well if you do it for speed matching input output shafts youd need to thave the clutch disengaged wile the tranny was in neautral to get the input shaft speed to match the output shaft speed and keep gears happy
but like everyone has been saying we have syncros just be nice to your lancer and it wont cost you tons of cash to get gears and syncros replaced!
