How To Launch The automatic 03 lancer ES
dont do what i do.. neutral slams arent easy on transmissions..
but ya, preload 1st to about 3k.... if u have mediocre poweru should light up the tires in first gear, hold for a second at redline, i lift for a millesecond at shift points, and let her rip threw 2nd and 3rd.
my best 60' was a 1.65 with 26x9'' slicks, and that was a 6k rpm neutral slam, only time i did it, i normally just preload now.. best 60' with preload was a 1.75 with a 50shot getting it off the line and i had 22x8' slicks.... but my 300' sucked with the 22x8s..
Now for the street, street tires suck, so preloading with 3k should turn into a nice acceleration, just control the spin and dont let it shift into the next gear to early cuz of spin.

wrong...just do a brake stand and preload first as much as possible, then just let off the brake and go WOT. theres no need to lift at the shift points in an automatic. if you do, the damn thing probably won't shift, or it will shift up too high because it won't know what you want it to do. it definitely won't go to redline though, just keep the accelerator pinned.
