All the threaded openings in the back of the block are for 14mm socket size bolts. Anyone else run into this issue? If so, where did you end up mounting the knock sensor?

Need to get this working so I can buy my alky kit from Al....... Thanks in advance guys....
There are bungs in the block which can accomidate the smaler bolt

Al, can you be more specific? The only smaller threaded size holes I noticed were by the bottom right of the block, but it looks like it may not fit because of the axle.

I was able to find a picture online from "Joeycoates" engine build. I went ahead and circled the stock knock sensor blue and the red square area is where I was thinking to mount the GM knock sensor. Is this the area you are referring to?

Thanks Al.

Al,

Do you have any testing updates on this yet with the windshield fluid/alky mix?

Curious to see some actual comparisons.

Thanks,
Nathan

I tuned a car with a 50 / 50 % mix of denatured alcohol and water and it seemed to work just as good as stright alcohol

I have no had a chance to test winshield washer fluid yet as it seems every one wants the 100% alcohol

has nothing to do with the windshield washer........it uses the intercooler spray tank. The windshield washer fluid tank is in the trunk

Al, very keen on the MI, but wanted to be clear on a few things before placing the order. What exactly am I getting for $499? And second, what a/f would I tune for at the track at +25Psi and your MI system?
