So you can basically set it when you want it to start spraying. For example if you want daily driving you can lower the boost to say 19 psi and when you want to use the alcohol you turn the boost to say 20 where the spray starts.

is this right AL?

If so how would the map be good if it is expecting the alcohol to be sprayed wouldnt this mess the tune up if you were not using the alcohol?

Correct - there is a map sensor built into the control unit - you run a boost source to it

That is correct.

If you tune it conservatively you can use the same street tune with higher boost to make more power.

Of course the best approach for max power is to set the car up with a very agreesive tune you cant run on pump gas.

Every case needs to be exmained depending on the particular owners needs and requirements.

damn sounds good,

Alcohol injection seems awesome. possiably my next mod as long as it can be used for a daily driver is my concern.

I bought all the parts and attached the knock sensor to the head just to make sure it all worked. Tapped around and saw all the LEDs light up. The issue i am having now is that the only bolt size that I can use to mount the knock sensor (donut type, two prung GM knock sensor) is a 12 mm socket size bolt. All the threaded openings in the back of the block are for 14mm socket size bolts. Anyone else run into this issue? If so, where did you end up mounting the knock sensor?

Need to get this working so I can buy my alky kit from Al....... Thanks in advance guys....
