Alcohol kit install photos and directions

Guys - I am putting the aclohol kit in my car - wanted to post up some pictures and general directions which may help some people installing the kits

Some pics of thye kit out of the car

BTW - the gauge serves as a health meter you can ocassionaly check the pump out put to make sure everything is healthy and it also acts as a warning light - when it reached a pre-deremined level of pressure it activates a light in the control unit

Everything is very neatly installed into the stock intercooler tank - all wires are neatly zip tied and come with high quality connectors - the level is preinstalled in the tank with the pump and all fitings

How much for the kit and install?
Will it effect the long term life of the engine?

Its pre-wired inside the tank - all set up for you - works like a charm - light comes onto the control unit when it goes below 1/3 gallon

Install directions

1 - Jack up car - remove front under tray

2 - In most cases you can then reach the 3 12 mm bolts that hold in the stock intercooler sprayer tank out with the front bumper still on the car its tricky - those not mechanically inclined may have to remove the front bumper to reach all the 3 mounting bolts which go into the front unibody rail

3 - Remove the intercooler spray bottle from the bottom of the car - I recomend that you FIRST ATTACH THE MAIN HARNESS WIRE WITH THE 4 PLUG CONNECTOR TO THE CONNECTOR ON THE ALCOHOL TANK - BEFORE - YOU RAISE THE TANK INTO POSITION - it may be hard to connect it once its in if the bumper is on the car

4 - Slide up the new alcohol equiped spray bottle into the stock position and resecure the 3 12 mm mounting bolts. Do not overtighten - they go snug - its plastic and light so just snug them down!

5 - Sucure the grounding wire of the tank under one of the 10 mm bolts holding the greenish metal bracket in back of the two 12 mm bottle mounts

In the car

1- About 40 - 50 whp and tq

2 - We are running a special for $999 for the kit - inatlled and dyno tuned - BUT alas I have sold out of all kits and they are on back order - maybe we will have more next week

3 - I feel its 100 % for the motor and you will have no issues so long as you dont forget to top off the alcohol tank. Of course - you need to follow all the saftey suggestions I have previously posted - such as changing your head studs, etc in the thread I posted previously.

Hey Al , what do you think about running a 100% methonal mix? Also is the unit progressive with boost and does it use a map sensor to determine when it comes on and off?

Al, i'm curious how this kit will install on the "05's since the front diff resevoir is where the '03/04 stock i/c tank is. also does this kit replace the i/c water spray or would i still be able to retain both on my '03??

look forward to meeting you this week in PHX!

Methanol will work fine - or ethanol mixed with medthanol - (denatured acohol)

The kit's controller hooks up to the map sensor so it works off boost - and its all adjustable

No worries man - th windshield water tank is in the rear trunk - uneffected by this kit

This kit effects the intercooler sprayer bottle which will will never miss after you have the aclohol injection working

As I said - if you want one - I will come there and tune it personally for you
