Hi AL, this is Rafael, mine is a 2005 Red Lancer Evolution VIII, these are the performance mods I have, or will have that day installed:

INJEN INTAKE
HKS SSQ BLOWOFF VALVE
LPI LOWER IC PIPE
HKS HI POWER EXHAUST CATBACK
PERRIN CAT DELETE
PERRIN DOWNPIPE
WALBRO 255 FUEL PUMP
AMS FUEL RAIL
HALLMAN MBC AT 21PSI
ACT STREET DISC CLUTCH KIT
PROSTREET FLYWHEEL
MEGAN RACING EXHAUST MANIFOLD w/ CERAMIC COATING
MEGAN RACING TURBO OUTLET w/ CERAMIC COATING
HKS CAMSHAFTS ( WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS NOT SURE IF 264/264, 264/272 OR 272/272)

I have everything installed but the cams and fuel rail, the car runs great up to 4500-5000rpm but was acting a little bit on the top end after the walbro was installed, I am sure you will fix that.

I still havent installed the cams, they will be ordered this week because I had a set of HKS 272/264 but when we were installing two set of GSC on Omar and Javier cars we noticed one of the sets had a defective camshaft, for some reason it didnt fit, maybe Omar can explain you what was wrong, but then we had to install my HKS camshafts on Omar car because we already had everything dissasemble, so now I have to buy a new set this week. We spoke with GSC and they will be doing a refund after they receive the camshafts.

Any recommendation about wich ones to get and what combination? seems that the GSC are a little more aggressive but after that issue I prefer HKS. what about the cam gears? I am worried about the idle.

There you go, thats the first car you will be flashing in Puerto Rico.... I cant wait....

Honestly on stock turbo and non built motor cars I prefer the 264/264

As far as stagered goes - do the 264 intake and 272 exhuast

On your set up - everything looks good - however the HKS BOV is not one of our favorites due to many driveability and stalling issues. The forge re-circulating unit is my choice

Bro - I hate to disappoint you buty the Typhoon intake is one that has never worked well. If at all possible - I would advise at any cost to consider the Buschur, HKS, AEM or Injen units as an alternative. I know its hard news to hear but i have never had a really great result with the typhoon. Its suprizing becuase the J & N for the STI is great. Just a heads up !

Also a Walbro # 342 upgraded fuel pump is advised - particularly in a hot climate like Puerto rico for additional margin of safrtey and fuel supply when the fuel gets hot

I also have some friends that were left out because they didnt give the deposit on time. I dont know if AL is willing to spend more time. That depends on him.

AL? Randy? Any way we could allocate more time?

We can give him a sunday spot and move someone to the 8-10 PM spot on Saturday.
I'll post it, Al gave me green light on that, he's willing to tune til 12 midnight. But I kind prefer after 10 PM lets all go out and eat some and show Al what is a good dinner in San Juan.
