I am suggesting AVCR EBC for IX's which will allow you to hold higher boost longer as you can adjust the duty cyscle by rpms

Hey Al was this an 05 VIII?
Torque is sick!! It looks like the Evo IX turbo is that good after all and it seems its 95% repsonsible for the gains on the IX Evo!!Shouldn't matter if it was a 03 or a 05 cause the EVO 9 turbo has the 10.5 hotside as well.
That torque is crazy....

Based on your comments here, where you said:

As you can see from the attached log the quality and results are near OEM quality - in fact it works much better and smoother than the OEM controls
It took a lot of work - but the results are superior to a MBC or EBC at this point

bump for clarification on current recommendation for boost control on the IXs
Warrtalon continues to push the MBC without question, but your own data and comments as quoted in my post above ^^^^ seem to show the ECU (or even possibly EBC? ... same idea though) controlling boost is the superior solution.
Just for reference, here is cij911s boost plot with an MBC:

peak boost is about 22psi, falling off to the high 17s at redline, for a little over 4psi of taper.
In contrast, your own logs from Rnm's car show that with the ECU controlling boost, the taper appears to be more like 2-3psi from peak to redline.

I think people with IXs need some clear direction here besides Warrtalon's blind faith in the MBC and your latest AVCR comments ...
