Hopefully you'll be tuning close to SC this summer when my alcohol (failsafe) project will be finished and ready for tuning, then I'll get the 7700rpm and 2 stage with the cust tune.

al. one guy said he gets back fires from your flash. is that bad the back fire not your product.. if so how do you fix that. also when im driving i get a lil pop mostly when im NOT BEETING on it and shift at 3800 rpm'ish i get pop then im in a new geat. now this dose not happen every time id say 3 to 4 out of 10 times.

also when you do your 2 stage is that ok for hiting the rev seeing how it is there to do so. or is this ok because its only for a second or so. also i remember the kid and i talked to danny at xx when we went to get a friends car and fp poped up about this car. i say al dose what he dose and he did his job 100% and this was not al's problem as the kid did not listen to al in the 1st place.no lets stop saying al did it when al did nothing but warn the kid.

Just for reference

Here is the thread were the guy with the blown motor was warned about his lack of fuel pump - before he blew up

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=186588&page=1

I really dont think his slight lean area at red line was any factor in his engine failure which is more likely related to beating on the car when cold or high revs

The main issue is that it seemed that certain folks would not heed my suggestion about the fuel pump - so this is why I am requireing it so I dont have to see this type of situation going forward
I just get tired of all the bashing. If someone doesn't like a certain tuner or shop just leave it alone. I have a tuner and shop I will never give my business to, but I don't throw the name out.

I remember the thread because I was the first one to post in it. I thought it was weird for him to be running 21.5 psi without a fuel pump.

I don't look at this thread as a way of covering your ***. I see it as a way for you to save your customers a bunch of grief when they blow thier motors or just have some major problems realted to not running a fuel pump. If you can afford a EVO and afford to mod it, you should be able to afford a $90 fuel pump. Actually....you should WANT to afford a $90 fuel pump to keep your pride and joy safe and in perfect running order.

Keep up the good work Al. I'm looking to getting a TME or a 10.5 hotside and some intercooler piping. I'll be looking to get my car retuned after that. I'll probably wait for you to go back to Bucshur and have it done on the Dyno next time just to compare my car to others.

If you are using the HKS rs intake without a tune then I would suggest driving it real easy until you do get it tuned.

lol....

Still wondering why dynoflash's on a 'stage 1' car with only exhaust need a fuel pump when other tuners don't require one. Why dynoflashes need so much fuel I don't understand...

Any updates on the rod bolts of the IX?

PM I got from boomn29...

imo, if you can afford an evo, you can afford a real tuner and not a dynoflash. my .02.

Hey.....if this is the way you feel speak your bullsh!t in here and don't fill my PM box up with your ****. If you don't like Al or what Al does, then WTF are you even doing in the DynoFlash forum? This is basically the childsih crap I was talking about between the vendor fan clubs. Keep your opinions to yourselves and the people like me that just want to read and get info, don't have to read through a bunch of cry babies posts.

I think there needs to be a Test to own an Evo. There are too many idiots that get ahold of Evo's and blow them up, then are quick to push the blame on someone else. Just like they pushed the blame on mitsubishi when their clutch went out at 3k miles....
