Really? CA is a haven for cars like this, especially SoCal. SoCalEvo.net is pretty large, isn't it? There are far more Evos than what you see coming here.

Evos in SD are far and inbetween this is true. I remember the first time I saw an MR a couple years back and my friend told me how "rare" it was and it made me think it was some kind of hot and expensive supercar. Can't say that my mentallity back then contributed to my current car buying decesion .

I need some clarification from Al or Warrtalon. I saw that my time slot for my base IX flash was changed from 30min to 1hr. Al also mentioned that the base flash was for 1.5hrs in post #76. The explanation on the first page said that it's supposed to be for 30min. Which is it and what's going on exactly with the time changes? What will the extra time be used for?

You both are getting IX base flashes, so instead of giving the other guy 1.5 hours and you .5 hours, I made them both 1 hour. It may not take that long. Does it bother you if he spends more time getting your tune right and verifying it with test drives? If so, I can give the other guy a full 1.5 hours for whatever Al had planned.

I guess I'm curious now if anything, but why would someone want to get a custom tune on a stock car let alone a flash at all?

To make it much faster with no change in sound and no visible modifications while having no intention of modding in the future.

We had 2 stock IXs in DC that ended up right at 300whp after getting their stock IXs flashed. All they had was an MBC, but at that level, the power would be about the same without the MBC.

This trip is now booked solid.

Evo 9 "Miss Rose," let me know when you purchase your Warrtalon package. You will get tuned, so don't worry. We will setup a special time for you. Just PM me when you've made the purchase...

Regarding payment, can we use cc? Assuming he uses a local, or carries his own, credit card machine with him.

If you can't bring cash, then pay in full before the tune via PayPal or CC.
