Question Problem

The biggest apexi filter I could find is only 80mm but the flange on the HKS RS is 100mm. Not what? Anybody?

If you plan on using the MAF then both would fit on each side of teh MAF. If you dont plan on using the MAF, the apexi filter is too small to directly install onto the HKS RS Pipe. You might need a reducer or not use the HKS pipe at all.

So the apexi comes with its own mount for the MAF?

110 for just the filter? That sounds absurd, anyone else?

That might be somthing else that would work instead of the Apexi filter.

That's for the kit with the adapter for the MAF.

That uses the stock intake pipe won't fit with the HKS RS pipe.

I took my MAF off today and inspected it and the intake pipe and noticed my pipe and MAF sensor was dirty. I took them both off and cleaned the pipe out with some WD40 and washed it out with water, but I don't know what to use on the sensor.

I have almost 52K on my car and I've changed the filter numerous times, but not as often as I should have with the undertray off the car.

What can I use to celan the MAF sensor? I bought some STP throttle body and intake cleaner, but I'm not sure if I should use it or not. I've had some people tell me to use brake cleaner.

Any suggestions?

Last night I replaced my RS Filter with a 3 layer Dry type. The 3 layer defintiely will filter better.

Any HKS Dealer will have these.

What you want is the 200mm size dry type 3 layer. Its either the Blue one or Green one.

Go for roughly $25.00
