Do you have a tactrix cable and evoscan? If not spend the $100 or so and do some logging.

I had a serious question that not one person answered.

This forum is worthless.

Take it to AMS.. get it re-tuned look at the results and that's your answer right there. If the only change you made was getting it tuned would it be correct to assume that possibly the tune didn't go as well as planned. Actually I think they are having a flashathon this weekend. Prices might be cheaper I don't know give them a call. Just to let you know I had similar issues in exactly the same situation and after an AMS tune the problem dissapeared. I don't want to bash anyone just reporting what really happened and the solution to my problem. Everyone can make mistakes we are afterall human.

I'm glad somebody came out with this because I thought I was the only one. My car, after being DynoFlashed, came out .2 and 3mph slower than before.

BEFORE
12.29 @ 114mph w/ 1.7 60'

AFTER
12.46 @ 111mph w/ 1.6 60'

Hey, I think I was the only person to answer your Q (somewhat at least).

Was this a dyno tune or road tune?

OK you need to start with a boost leak test and literally listen to all the key spots, LICP, UICP BOV are the main culperates, if you hear some air then you have a leak. May also want to listen to the outlet pipe as I had that leak on my car (will make a whining sound though). Assuming that conditions were similar and you didn't miss any shifts then I would think you have a knock issue, but you will only be able to tell this from data logging software. Also do you have a wideband? What kind of AFR does your car run? These are just a few ideas but there are many more possibilities. Good Luck.

Also the difference in your time is only from your 60 being faster

Random post hear guys. I haven't been on this website in years and decided to log on. I'm actually surprised that I figured out my password lol. Anyway it's one of those strange feelings when I look back and see proof how Immature I was roughly 17 years ago. Being 18/19 with an Evo was definitely to young. I look back at this post embarrassed. I made up a bunch of crap about Al probably because I was upset about somthing childish and never took a second to think that this man has a business and my comments could have had an impact. Anyway, sorry Al for what it's worth. If there's any OGs still on this forum, what up!

looking back at our actions online can be pretty cringe/embarrassing. This type of "life archive" internet age never existed till about a generation ago so its all very new. I have to agree about the age you had an evo. Its crazy to think kids got their hands on these cars at the time but that's the way it was with muscle cars/any other Japanese tuner at the time. I remember highschool kids driving around in mk4 supras/gtr's all rhd mostly but not so much evos because in Canada they were never sold here and were still much more expensive than the former. It blows my mind today that kids owned and drove around such powerful machines. No wonder so many were wrecked.
