again great numbers......

will you drive on C16 all the time?
IMHO only a careless tuner would push for 500 whp on pump gas with that turbo - its just asking for troubles

I am sure that this car had another 50 whp in the pump gas tune and race gas tune - but that extra 50 left off the table - HOPEFULLY - is what will keep this customer's engine reliable as a daily driver

Just my two cents

Could not have said it better myself

Race cars trying to set records onm the track or shop cars doing R & D are the only ones who should be pushed 100%

Customers cars should be tuned conservativley

I was suprised out how streetable the lag was on this car. When we took it for a spin down 95 to test it after the tune I even said, "Wow I thought the lag would be so much worse." With the race gas this thing just FN ripped! Felt like a bike. Before last Friday I wouldve never considered this setup just for the lag reason but now I think it is worth the trade off. Great numbers and great time at Pruven last Friday!

Glad you are happy with the new setup Kevin. I knew you wouldnt be dissapointed with the 3065. I love mine.

Let me know if/when you need anything else or if you have anymore questions on further upgrades.

The issue has to be with the wastegate spring. I will probably order another wategate from buschur, swap it out, then send the old one back...hoepfully that will solve the boost creep issue.

I do not have any compressor surge issues with the 3065. Does your compressor cover have the surge ports?

I had looked over Mike's car several times.. The only thing I kept coming back to is the Intercooler he was using.. There's not alot of variation in intercooler pipes and most of his other components are good parts.. I think he switched to an AMS Intercooler recently so maybe that will help him..

It does Illustrate that you have to pick your parts and stick with a vendor with some of this stuff though.. I already have a concern about my Buschur Intercooler (its a first gen deluxe that needs a 2.25 pipe upgraded to 2.5) I think that will end up hurting me..

This is what I'd expect to see from the Buschur setup though..

Fury's car does pull real hard though, and runs well on the street, just didn't make Good numbers under the conditions it was tuned for..

There was nothing wrong with the tune itself, so the best guess I could make was the intercooler was either overly restrictive, or getting severe heat soak in the dyno room..
