Oh mine had the adjustment to get the clearance.. If you don't have the room don't risk your radiator..

Congrats on the setup, glad to see it came together well. To make one point on the inclusion of my car as one of the "failed experiments" with this turbo I'd simply like to mention that I highly doubt my Injen intake (full 3" maf pipe/2.5" intercooler piping) + TurboXS FMIC represent the type of "mish mosh" of parts that would rob 60whp (my car put down 430whp at 27psi 93/alky). This turbo is beginning to remind me of another White Rabbit...

The only points of restriction in my setup were the intercooler (which has since been changed to an AMS Street Core) and my Perrin exhaust. If this turbo can not approach 450whp with a conservative tune through a livable exhaust than I'd place the onus on the turbo rather than the parts combination. Time will tell as I plan on refining the tune slightly and getting the car back on a dyno in the coming months.

/\ Thanks..

I think with the right parts this turbo is the ultimate comprimise between street/strip. And several people have shown that it can perform great at the track as well....easily getting into the high 10's with a good launch and high boost....

^ Nice numbers it seems like we have similar setups. Mine recently made 490/480 on c16, I guess when the wick gets turned up the advantage of the 3076 really starts to shine, along with the tq on pump gas....

/\ thanks. Yea the only thing to consider with the c16 tune is that the tune did not change at all, all we did was add in fuel and turn up the boost. This was the high boost runs will be extremly safe/conservative...550-570 would not have been a problem with this setup if we would have changed the tune for the race gas..

Great numbers btw...impressive tq!

Thanks.

More good news or an update on the car. I recently re-did my MBC lines and sourced the MBC from the LICP instead of the BOV line, and wow....

There is no more boost creep, boost response is much better, and spool is also quicker. Before it was hitting 21 and climbing to about 24-25. Now it hits 21 and stays there. Actually, once I changed my lines and shortened the MBC lines by about 3 feet (total) the boost dropped from 21-19 lbs. So I had to actually turn the boost controller up to get back to 21 lbs......which shows how much better boost control I have now with the new lines and MBC boost source...

I will report back when the 880's and new tune w/ following numbers mid April....

Those are some sweet numbers, bro! BR parts are top of the line in my opinion. Also, goes to show you don't need a 35R to make good power! Congrats and good job!

And it also shows the potential of the stock ECU and MAF. I rode in this car and it is seriously crotch rocket fast on race gas. Well I guess 500whp will feel like that.

I highly doubt it.

I will report back when I get tuned at the end of April. I have made some changes to the car which should prove very promising...+500 on pump gas?
