Just got tuned by Al over the wekend. Caught up with him the day before the DSM?Evo Shootout at Norwalk. The car is stock and Al was able to give me almost 30 ft/lbs of tq and 20 whp. Well worht the money!!
Man i wish there was someone in Australia like big Al from Dynoflash.
You guys are blessed to have someone that is so passionate about his work with full blown EVO's to stock ones with only a few mods.
I enjoy Al's videos and especially the one where he takes his own EVO down the street for some lunch.
It would be awesome if Al could come down under to OZ and do some EVO tuning.
I can only dream

Hey Al,
I've been running your mail-in tune (installed in Socal on one of your trips out here a few years ago) on my daily driven '05 since it was new and I love it...but I have purchased some various mods that will require a re-tune (namely a fuel pump). I really enjoyed your tune and it is probably the best mod for the money - hands down...what do I have to do to get a re-flash with my updated mods?
I plan on doing a bit of open-track events / autocross events next year and I wanted a map that would be a good all-around (not necessarily an all out HP tune...something with good mid-range etc.) What will it cost me and how do I go about getting a re-tune?
Thanks

Custom Tuning
Hey Al,
Sorry for not getting back to you real quick, but I would definately be interested in getting a custom tune - I have yet to order my upgraded fuel pump but if you can give me a better idea of when you'll be around the LA area I'll do my best to get one installed before the custom tune. I appreciate your response.
Also, what are custom tunes going for these days? Just so I know ahead of time...
Thanks

Yes I do offer a eflash service - I just dont promote it or market it as with my regular dyno tuning work I dont have enough hours in the day to do the kind of attention to quality I do on my mail in flashes. Those who want a Email flash just PM me or email at info@dynoflash.com

Ok well I got a full custom tune from Big Al today at ICS. My Evo has the following:
Buschur Turboback Exhaust
AMS FMIC
AMS LICP
Injen Intake w/UICP
Forge DV
Walbro 255
Exedy Twin Disk Clutch
ARP headstuds
Crower 272 Cams
Crower Valve Springs and Retainers
Forge MBC (installed right before the tune)
Anyway, I put down 366whp/347wtq @22psi on 93 pump. All I can say is WOW. Al did a fantastic job tuning my Evo. I love it. So quick and responsive, perfect for the streets. And it drives and idles just like stock. Turbo spools quick and hits very hard. Two thumbs up for Al, he is a stand up guy, and I had no problems whatsoever with him or his work. My Evo feels like a different car now. I couldnt be happier. Thanks Al, Angel from ICS, and the rest of the crew.
