OK guys I have a quick couple questions that may seem stupid but I want to make sure before sending my ECU out. I've been trying to get ahold of Al through e-mail, PM and by calling since yesterday with no answer.

First Does it matter if I send my ECU via Fed-ex of UPS to him? His website does say sumthin about all ECUs have to be fed-ex to him and then he fed-ex overnight back the same day... But can I send it UPS next day air, cuz there's no Fed-ex service stations around me...

Second its $199 correct? and where can I paypal him? paypal@dynoflash.com or Alfrienesq@aol.com? dynoflash.com says one thing, the forum says another so I'm confused.

Can someone please confirm/deny and correct the above here ASAP cuz as soon as someone does I'm walking out the door to send it, thanks!

He just got home from the CO tuning trip late last night.

Any mail service.

$199 to paypal@dynoflash.com plus you pay UPS to ship to Al.

I'm really interested in the dynoflash. I have an evo 8 and that would be my first mod ignoring the drop-in filter. I want it to last for a while meaning no mods for a couple of months atleast. I have a question about boost taper at higher rpms, will a MBC help me hold 21 psi longer and is it even worth getting since my car will be pretty much stock?

Yes, an MBC will accomplish that, and it is worth getting. It will work great in conjunction with the flash. Just don't try to raise the boost too much on the stock exhaust due to the backpressure. 21psi would be ideal. It will still naturally taper, but not nearly as much or as early as the stock boost.

Thanks for the help, thats exactly what I wanted to hear. Would you recommend a new fuel pump for this combo because of higher boost or do you think it's a little early to be thinking about that?

I'm expecting to get my ECU back tomorrow, should the forge unos MBC be the next thing I get? How much better does the MBC control boost taper as compared to just the flash without the controller? IF I get the MBC set it at like 21 correct?

I would get the MBC next - I sell them for $85 shipped

On a IX maintaining good boost is hard due to the mivec

One trick - remove the upper boost restrcitor pill which is located on the hose going into the wastegate solinoid

That with the ecu controlled boost settings I put in your ecu should make for a decent boost level until your mbc is installed

You can use the same tune with the mbc

Thanks! My Buschur/Warrtalon Stage 1 is arriving shortly and I wanted to make sure I would be OK. I also have heard that the upgraded pumps make an annoying "whining" noise. Is this true of all upgraded pumps?

Well, i don't know about all upgraded pumps, but we really only use one upgraded pump on the Evo, and that's the Walbro 255. Yes, it usually whines, but I couldn't care less. It's off and on depending on conditions (weather, how hard you've been running, how hot it is, and how low your tank is).

When did you order your package? Smart man!

Lol... It's been about 1-2 weeks now. Buschur was waiting for downpipes to finish off my order. I have been researching alot, and felt that this package would best suit my needs. I will have to stay stock turbo for awhile, and wanted something to sorta hold me over in the meantime.

You will enjoy it man. My buddy got one for his Evo9 and his car is very impressive for such little invested into it. If only they came out that package a little earlier, I might've gotten one.
