Will this void warranty? And/or can they detect it?

I have a 06 MR with a drop in K&N and the Greddy Evo II exhaust.

This looks like a very cool improvement to this already awesome car.

I am just worried/curious about when I take it to the dealer for service, will they be able to tell? And if so, what can they do? Void my engine's warranty? etc

Thumbs up IX @ 10,000 mi w/Dyno Flash

Just hit 10K w/a Custom Tune from Al...made some of my first 1/4 mile runs w/a best of 12.2 @110 mph--I'm not a racer so hope that's not too embarrassing.

Once I'm back from Iraq: fuel pump/upper & lower pipes/down pipe/HKS intake/wheels

Cheers to Al for the great work...I'll be visiting in the Spring for another tune and dyno run.

Thumbs up

Got a custom tune from Al at Buschur Racing on the 5th and been loving it ever since! Best money I ever spent on a car. Period. Get it done, you won't regret it! Picked up about 50whp over stock w/ just tune and Buschur cone filter! 22psi and pulls like a mother! One question though, for Al or anyone that cares to answer, should I install the Walbro 255 fuel pump as I am hitting 22 psi boost in every gear and it creeps higher than that in 5th gear? Anyway, thanks again Al.

If you add the pump you will need to retune it

Thanks AL

Al,

What kind of power can I expect to gain with an HKS TBE with cat delte and a KN conical filter?

Also, a friend of mine gave me the USB cable to plug into my ECU. Can you give me advice on how to download my ECU data and email it to you for a reflash?

Thanks!

Brad

Just returned from Iraq and went straight to work and research on my IX. Last Sunday Jimmy installed a Walbro and Al tuned me for my latest mod, HKS Racing Suction Intake. Dyno for what was really an incomplete stage 1 yielded 272 whp. The following day, I called Jimmy an asked him to put aside a full Buschur exhaust. No problem, he said. Today I went back for the install and a retune. Dyno= 306 w/21lb of boost. Those are just the facts. Great tunes and professional install and customer service from Al and Jimmy and his staff at The Shop.

Both Al and Jimmy will continue to get my repeat business....which will probably be cams and a clutch.

The only thing they forgot was a free "The Shop" tee shirt and a DynoFlash decal

Got my car dynoflashed a few weeks ago couldnt be happier with the great job Al and Jimmy and the guys at the shop did. The first time i went i put all the mods in my sig in except i had a hfc instead of test pipe. Made 346whp very happy with that. Went back a week later replaced the hfc with a test pipe and gained almost 20whp. The psi is set at 23 but the car pulls much harder with the test pipe in now. Soon i will be going back to add the perrin alky kit hopefully get close to 400whp/400tq. Just like to thank everyone at the shop and big Al.
