???'s about dyno flash

Hello all, I am wonderin how much it runs to have done??? I have a turbo xs 3" exh., 3" downpipe, and a HKS supersuction intake. I also have a CM flywheel and a CM stage 3 clutch, if that makes any difference. What exactly does this do? How many different programs can be ran at once??? And what is turn around on sending an ecu out? And last how many times will have have to send out the ecu before it is made right? Thank you. Jesse

its 200 for a mail flash.....

it increases rev. limit, raises fuel cut, edits a/f ratios, and tons of other good stuff.

Turn around time is 1 day. the day he receives the ecu is the same day he sends it back. contact al for more info

He will get it right the first time. He's done over 300 cars and many of them have similar upgrades to yours. Check his reviews. His customers love him. BTW, I don't own anything from Al, so this is unbiased and based only on what I've seen on the forums.

Also, if in the future you want to go a different route UTEC, EXEDE, AMS, Power FC..., you've only spent $200 for the flash.

If you want to "set it and forget it", nothing touches the Dynoflash. It's like having a nice suit tailored perfectly to your body (ie, mods).

Like robertrinaustin mentioned, there's no "how many times". Al is a perfectionist and will get the most out of your car the first time. The only reason you'd send it back is if you changed your mods and wanted it flashed to that.

We have a very excelent base map for the RS kit - try it risk free and if you do not agree its worth every penny you can have your $ back

BTW one through the mail flash customer I sold that flash to went 12.2 @ 118 mph in the 1/4 on the stock turbo with the through the mail tune

Whats the RS kit? Approx how many diffferent maps do you have? Are there 91 octane versions for all the different possible mod combos? Are there 91 octance maps for each individual Buschur Stage 1-4?

I figured out you meant the HKS Racing Suction intake kit. The rest of the questions you can answer when you get a chance

Thanx

I have over 200 differnt map possibilities

Many are 91 octane versions and also i can now make 91 octane versions as I am very proficient at doing this

Also - note the guy who just went 11.7 with my base mail flash - his map was made off the top of my head for a one off custom set up - after doing over 500 evo 8 flashes - I am starting to figure out what works with what

With that said - most fo my standard set up flashes - e.g. the Fireball 2 or the HKS RS flash - those have seen street tuning on over 100 individual evos and hundreds of hours of dyno time

We subscribe to a super conseravtive and safe approach to tuning which seems to resonate well with our end users

Smoothness and safety are # 1

But interesting to note the 1/4 mile times of our through the mail customers are now equalling those of stand alone systems wuch as the AEM etc

save your money, you can't change it yourself if you do more up grades.

True - but you can just ship it back and get a $100 upgrade flash to any new combination of mods you can dream up.

Also, you could always use my base flash as your ground map and tune over it with a safc, emanage or other piggy back - that way you only have to make slight 3 - 5% corrections to dial in the tune 100% - also you get the fuel cut, ign timing, rev limit and other improvments along with the better base tune

$199.99 is not a lot of money to "waste" when you're driving a $30,000 car and you can get something that immeditely transforms the power band and "feel" and provides significant power gains - IMHO

What kind of horsepower numbers and quarter mile numbers can I expect with your flash, and my mods? Mods are AEM short ram, ACT street clutch, HKS hipower cat back exhaust, helix 3" dp, Greddy Manual Boost controller, and Super AFC2? And do I continue to use the AFC after your flash or is it useless?
